The purpose of the Award is to acknowledge and reward SWBA members for their efforts to solve retirement and health benefits challenges in a challenging corporate environment.

Award winners for both categories are chosen by an Award Selection Committee, composed of SWBA's Immediate Past President and four members of SWBA's Communications Committee.

The Awards are presented during SouthWest Benefits Association's Annual Conference held each year in early May.
