Transportation
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is 7 miles and 20 minutes from
downtown. Super Shuttle rates are $21 and subject to change. Reservations
may be made by calling 512-258-3826. For more information visit Super
Shuttle. The approximate cost for a taxi from airport to hotel is
$20, not including gratuities.
Recreation
Hilton Austin is located one block from The Sixth Street Entertainment
District and 6 blocks from the The Warehouse District. Over 200 restaurants,
live music venues, shopping spots and art galleries are withing walking
distance. The Hilton is two blocks from Austin Town Lake which features
32 miles of hiking and biking trails. Rentals of mountain bikes, kayaks
and dinner boat cruises are all available within walking distance.
Conference Attire
Business casual for conference sessions. Casual and comfortable for all
other events. The Austin climate in May is delightfully mild, with daytime
temperatures in the 80's, and nighttime temperatures in the 60's and 70's.
